2 Year Limited Warranty
Solano Basses will, within two (2) years from date of purchase, repair any parts of your Solano double bass free of charge if the parts are deemed defective in material or workmanship under normal use. Damage caused by inadequate climate control, such as low humidity, is not covered. This warranty does not cover damage arising from normal wear, scratches, accidents, misuse, or from any alteration, service, or repair performed by any party other than Solano Basses. This warranty is void if the instrument was not purchased directly from Solano Basses. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have additional legal rights under applicable laws which may vary from State to State and Country to Country, and which are not affected by the terms of this warranty.
Do I get an additional warranty after my instrument is repaired?
If Solano Basses performs any service on your instrument (other than providing an estimate), the work will be warranted for one (1) year.
Can my local music store/luthier/etc. service my instrument, or will it void my warranty?
The warranty on your instrument states that we will not accept an instrument for repair under warranty if someone other than Solano Basses opens the instrument. The warranty will be considered void and of no effect if the instrument is opened by such person or business. Therefore, we encourage customers to send instruments, which are under warranty, back to us for repair; please contact us to determine the most efficient transportation option for your situation. However, please also note that you, the customer, will be responsible for all costs associated with transporting the instrument to our facility and returning it safely back to you.
If an instrument is no longer under warranty, anyone who has proper technical training and equipment may perform repairs on your instrument. However, the ultimate responsibility is with the service provider. Solano Basses is not responsible for the work of any such service providers and may not be able to repair any damage caused by such service provider.
